Humanitarian Aid Documentary: Mykoliav Orphanage and the Liberation of Kherson
This documentary, created in partnership with a French NGO now operating in Ukraine, aims to bring attention to the conditions of orphanages located near active frontlines in the eastern regions. Although the Mykolaiv oblast has been fully de-occupied, it continues to face the consequences of the Russian invasion, including ongoing shelling and damaged infrastructure. The project is currently in the editing phase and is expected to be completed by January 2026. Along with documenting the first entrance into newly liberated Kherson, the film serves as a vehicle for raising awareness about de-occupied regions and supporting fundraising efforts for the orphanage. I served as the director of this humanitarian aid documentary.
